A feature article in the November 2022 issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine discusses Sean and Brian’s work with the Dredge Research Collaborative and the USACE Engineering with Nature Program. The bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 provides tens of billions of dollars for communities to remake coastal resilience infrastructure, and nature-based solutions are an important part of this work. This article describes the groundwork being done in landscape architecture to help communities and begin to access the funding by developing unique, landscape-based approaches to coastal and climate-resilience projects.
